amp for JL 12W3's??

I'm going to get 2 12w3's. they're 250 watts rms. I was going to get a jl 500/1 because that's what i was told to get, however i've read a lot of reviews on rf, and it looks like they are good as well and they're cheaper, but i've also been told that if the amp doesn't go with the sub well it doesn't sound good. What amp should i go with, or which company is a good company to stay with??

I'd say the best two choices would be the Jl 500/1 or the JBL 600.1. Both are great amps, but the JBL is lower priced ($195).

I was recently looking for subs to go with my jl500/1 and I was also told to go with two w3s the shop that I went to say they use that setup alot and that it is the best combination they also have that same combo in their demo truck of course they had 6 12s and 3 500/1 it makes sense that they would construct an amp that works really well with their subs it is good for business as for the rf the new amps look cool and they have been making good amps all the way back to the punch 45 I personally would only get their class d amps the others draw a lot of amps of your car well the power 1100a2 did
