Amp for 6.5"s -- help

I have 4 MB Quart DKD 116 6.5's. I have been running them off of the head unit -- and it basically sounds like sh*t. Just bought a new head unit -- Clarion DXZ835 ( I have Clarion cd changer, which I don't wish to replace). I now want to amp the Quarts. They are 4 ohm, and I am really unsure about a power rating -- says 50-120 watts, so not sure what RMS I am looking for. So... what would you use to optimally power these -- with out spending a ridiculous amount of money. One of the amps I was considering is the Avionixx 440.4 -- little more than I want to spend, but.... All input appreciated.

Oh yeah --- YAY, I finally found an ALT!!!! 200 AMPS, on its way:)

I looked at a kicker amp -- the 600.4 Also, an MTX 404 -- My subs are powered by a MTX 1501D, so it would be nice to have them match up -- but I really don't care. I want good mid/high sound quality. Are either of these decent or should I look at something else?
