Amp for 1 12XXX??

yo, im going to be getting 1 RE 12XXX soon and I was wondering what amp will show the subs full potential, with the best quality. I have about $1000 and less for just the amp. Im thinking JL 1000/1, but some say that its just a bit shy of rms watts to show the full potential of the XXX. The other amps im looking at is the 2500D Orion 1Ch amp. Soundstream Tarantula 1Ch 2000watt amp. Or Ti1200 Phoenix Gold 1ch amp. Or any other amps. Also my stock alternator is 120amps, will i need a new alternator for 1 12XXX, one of these amps above, and a JL 300/4(for components) Thanks

if you want full potential your gonna wanna run more then the JL 1000 thats for sure...it is extremely amazing how hard these subs pound tho with the little power that is given to them...they do have awesome sensitivity...if i was you i would find either an Alpine Mrv-m1000...amp puts out 1800 wrms @ 1 ohm and it is extremely clean power...or an orion 2500d...it all depends on your ohm configuration that you plan on getting...otherwise a viper 2500d...or even an orion 1200d would get the job done for the time being...but it is highly recommended you have a secondary batter and new alt before you plan to pound the earth...gotta start with the necessities and go from their...hope this helps ya out

1500 watts will be just fine for a XXX. It can take more, but 1500 is fine for daily. Save yourself 700 dollars and look at HiFonics 1500BX. 1500 watts of clean power @ 1 ohm.

I THOUGHT THESE THREADS OF XXX'S AND THE HIFONICS BX1500D AMPS WERE OVER, BUT, THERE NOT, oh well you could have run a search and found the same answer on most of them but yea, take the hifonics bx1500d very good power for the price

If you dont like these threads, dont read them. I searched, and while i found something close about the XXX and amps, its not the exact answer im looking for.
