amp cuts out?

I just wanted to know why my amp cuts out. I have 2 10w6s running at 6 ohms powered by a jensen 600. all my setting are good(not all the way up) and some with songs, the amp cuts out. The amp in under my rear seat, would ventilation be a prob or what?

Whats up, I had the exact same problem when I started with the sound cutting out at high volumes, the reason was becuase I had wired a long ground wire from my amp all the way back to the negative terminal of the battery //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/banghead.gif.8606515f668c74f6de0281deb475b6fd.gif . Soon as I made a really short wire going straight from my amp screwed to some metal on the body of my car it worked perfectly //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/clap.gif.178cba2c538c68e720c727fcb024b19c.gif hope this helps
