Seems like a decent little setup. I would snatch it up.

I have a Philips upcovert 1080i DVD/1000rms surround sound system in my bedroom and it sounds pretty dam good. Have it hooked through HDMi though. I spent 135 at Best Buy though, still not bad.

Yes the ratings are total BS, but it should still supply a decent amount of power for some basic or starter setup. Probably closer to a total of 200RMS system power with acceptable THD.
