am doesnt work in dodge/ why?

Can anybody tell me why the am radio on my sony cassette deck won't work in my dodge pickup but will in both my other cars. The radio worked fine on the old radio.

that's a weird one! i have a sony and a dodge and the AM works fine. of course all i listen to on AM is ESPN radio.

sorry, i know i didn't help, but dang, that's just weird!

just a quick thought, your antenna co-ax might be bad. trace it out and see, AM stations are generally weaker and if it (the antenna) is messed-up, that could be why your not hearing the AM jams!
