i dunno if there have been any posts about it yet, but i saw it on the net its slightly more power then the type r well about alot more, and i was wondering if any of you have heard it. it was in cruchfield, and i had seen it prior to that, but never really cared to look it up. I wantt o buy alpine subs but if the x is better then the r's then ill get the X.

that was a waste of a response on your part. I have been around long enough, and im sick of people like you. Its a forum, in forums you ask for help, and generally people are nice enough to give the answer to you. well sure enough you gave me answer, but then again this is a forum and forums survive by lacking people who dont bother to answer. now if you had some info on it it would have been nice of you to share it, or point me towards the thread. Telling people t use the search all the time is a noob thing to dosorry to say it but it is. It makes sense if there are alot of thread and alot of comments, but in this case i know there isnt cause its brand new. so next time either dont answer or anaswer with something useful.

i think most would rather have someone not answer then hearing " go search "

Hey Inhuman is right there has been several different threads about the type X so lay off there bud. Wow you have been here a long time..... maybe since you have been here so long you know how annoying it is for people to do the same thread over and over and over. Not trying to be a pain jsut stating the facts...

I'm going to have to agree on this one for the most part, except I was new and had the same problem. I know you guys who have been here for a long time prob get tired of all the same posts but if you just say "there has already been one about this, look at earlier threads" in a NICE way thats all you have to do. I got ripped cause I looked for stuff and came up empty handed. I mean sure there are only 490 pages of threads to look through. But for all of you who have helped me out I thank you and keep the answers coming.

Oh by the way the type X looks sick, wasn't too impressed by the type R.

when i searched i came up empty handed i looked for type x in the titles and found nothing.

the fact that i havent been here long doesnt mean anything. I belong to many many many forums, and have been memebers to them for a long time and i dont act like and old grouchy man. so you see the same thread over just ignore it, thats what i do, or il just anser their question. try and think when u first started how did u feel when your questions werent answered?

Well, you didnt search very well. Why wait for people to answer your question if the answers are easily obtainable by simply typing in major context clues, IMO not very difficult. When I first started I didnt ask ignorant questions and I have absolutely no problem whatsoever with helping anyone in need of an answer to a ligitamate question. The questions that dont get answered useually intail how many Db's, this sub vs. this sub, and other questions with unatainable answers.

IMO: the Alpine Type-X is way overpriced and aimed towards a consumer thats interested in paying 500 dollars for something a quality 200-300 sub would own, Id be more interested and entertained buying 2,000 gum balls from a grocery store.

i did a few searches after and coulnt find it. well just for an expample, what if you were new to the forums thing and had no clue about car audio, do you think someone like that would have any clue what to do? i dont. its just consideration for others i guess. some of us have more than others.

besides that, i wanna hear them also. the type r's can be pushed with 750 wattsrms and have no rpobs, so if these new subs are up to the standards of cleanliness, then we should have some good subs on our hands. they could be handeling alot of power, IMO i find alpine to be the most prestigous subs and amps out there. i like their looks and the clean quality. Jl has got me in the amps department for the most part but otherwise alpine is my top. hhopefully the type x can hold an image of quality among the rest
