forget it....i'm just gonna go with the RF HX2's, everyone i've ever talked to says they're loud, and i haven't ever heard anyone say that their SQ is bad

True, not bad, but by no stretch of the imagination is the SQ great. I'd sooner get the Type R's and the W3's than the HX2's. Then again, our tastes differ.

You could win the big dawg status if you get 2 12" POWER HX 2's.But get a sweet amp like a jbl 1200.1

If you want to blow everyone out of the water then get the Eclipse Ti subs and hook each one up to a JBL 1200.1! That will thump pretty good and also have good sq.

The only other amps that I really am impressed with are PPIs, the MTX 81000D, and some DDI amp. The Jl 500/1 is also a great amp. The thing about the 1200.1 is that it really supprised the crap out of me. When I first ordered it, I had one JL 500/1 and it did the job. I thought that the 1200.1 would probally only equal the power of the 1200.1, but when I got the 1200.1, I realized that this amp was awesome and that I needed another. Right now I like to promote it because it is the only amp that I have personally had and know about.

quick question, what's the difference between the Power HX2's, and the Punch HX2's, or are they the same sub that everyone gets confused?? because i've never seen a power hx2 online...or offline for that matter

i see them everywhere big-cat,the diff is the power hx2's handle 1000 rms because of a double stacked magnet.The power hx2 line is the top RF line how can you not see it.

nevermind, i found them. I can get the 12'' Punch HX2's for 140 with a 1 year waranty from a guy on e-bay with a rating of over 15000. Or i can get the 12'' Power HX2's for 240 with a 3 years waranty from Carstereotime.com. if it worth it to spend the extra 100? or will the Punch HX2's give me the powerful bass i want. I've read reviews on the Punch hx'2, and apparently they have a lot of problems. I've read a few reviews for the Power's and no one has really said anything bad about them, it's always good things. What should i do??

If you have a big amp or 2 get the power series.If you got a 500w amp or so... get the hx2.The diff is the power series is like top dawg the hx2 is just the middle man.the hx2 prolly is good but spend the extra 100 bones my friend its worth it by far ask anyone.

i got two 12" 12.1 infinity perfect with a sony 760 watt xm-1502 amp and in my '86 honda civic hatch back, these suckers pound.

i have irritated people on the streets and businesses, and my friends who are like one block down with their cars was always complaining and saying "**** dude, your car is too **** loud...!"

technically, i'm giving each sub 190WATTS x 2 @ 2 ohms. these suckers can do 350watt rms and 1400 peak. i don't think i want to go that loud because my hatchback is like a **** bandpass box and it hurts my ears so bad...

but trust me, infinity perfects are a good buy. i don't know about type r's though.....i would suppose they are good as well since they are made by alpine.

i'm happy with my infinity's though. they hit, and they hit hard with my crappy *** sony amp.
