Alpine Type-R's or Infinity Kappa Perfects??

well, if the infinities have better SPL, what amp should i go with for them?? I was thinking a 1200.1 or a 600.1 JBL but the subs are at 4ohms, and the amps are at 2 or 8 ohms. Will i still be able to have someone hook that up correctly?

Okay, if you are getting the single voice coil Perfects, get two of them and run them in parrallel. This should create a 2 ohm load which is a perfect match for the JBL 1200.1

wouldn't that be too much for the subs though?? they're 350 watts rms...and that'd be like 600rms. Are you sure they could handle that and be ok?

i was told that JL W3's hit hard(i was gonna get them), but i was told by someone else on another post that if put up the infinities they'll hit just as hard

W3-Type R-Perfects these are the 3 subs I narrowed it down to after a long drawn out research I did but I ended up going with the Type R's 2 12's because they said they hit hard as hell and have **** good sq so it is in the middle of the two others IMO the type R's hit harder than both other subs and still maintain just as good sq! And you can be a big dog at school with 2 12 inch alpine Type R's believe me! Anyone who says you cant hasnt heard them. I would but mine againist any sub matching the price i paid
