i am debating on which highs i should get one will be a component set for the front of my car and the others will be 6 1/2 for rear fill. Currently i have type r 6 1/2's but im sellin my car and buying a new one and wondering if i should stick to the type r's or get the kenwood excelons. please noone give me other brands to try such as diamond audio or cdt's. just want info on these two.

The Alpine Type R is actually quite a nice component set. I'd recommend sticking with the Alpine components and the Alpine Type R coaxes for rear fill.
