Instead of buying the type e's just stick with the type r's. Type e is the lowest line of subs alpine makes with type r being the highest (sep for the type x). With the money you save not buying the type e upgrade to type r 12's or an amp to power ur subs.
Why would you want the Type E's and the Type R's together? Just stick with the Type R's, mixing them will probaby cancle each other out and sound bad. I would get 2 12" Type R's instead of the 10" ones as well, with around 400-600WRMS going to each.
well i already own the type-e i got two in a box brand new for 100$ would it be worth it to hook up 4 type-e? iam running two type-e off a rockford 451s can i hook up two amps to the 4 subs and expect twice the sound iam getting now?
I'm not saying this to be a dick...but take this into consideration...
Quantity is never = to Quality
Four low end subs will never be louder and sound better at the same time than a single quality sub. I'd save up and buy once and buy nice. You could buy two more of those subs and it might get louder but in the long run you will be spending more $$$ for less...buy nice eventually rather than cheap right now. Just my opinion.
