alarm not arming (compustar)

wondering if anyone can give me any ideas as to why my alarm won't activate. The power locks and trunk and everything still work. But the alarm won't activate, the little indicator/warning light won't come on or anything. Can anyone give me any help as to where to start? Maybe I should just take it back to the guys that installed it.

1st off... take it back to where you got it... most places if you go behind their work and change stuff it will void any warranty it holds... but it might be in valet mode or somethin... take it back 2 who installed it tho for sure
