hey yall i just put new rockford fosgate T162C power coaxial's in the rear deck of my 96 audi a4. They are wired to the rear speaker leads of the alpine 9827 cd player. Sounds fine at low volume but whenever i start turning up the volume or the bass the new speakers start distorting and making weird clicking/popping noises. Then most of the time the sound cuts off from all the speakers completely. The cd player is still on and reading the cd normally but no sound is coming out. The alpine puts out 18 watts rms....the speakers are rated at 75 rms. Do I have enough power for the rockfords to work properly? Is my cd player cutting off because it can't handle the power requirement of the rockfords? please help this is driving me crazy, no one can give me a good answer. could it be the ground for the reciever? who knows...thanks in advance
