Hye guys. My buddies amp is a sony 1600p5,the 900x1 rms @ 2 ohm (14.4v) and its not pushing as hard as it was before when he got it. He had his gains set all the way and his LPF to the lowest, 50. his 40hz was all the way up. I don't know why its not as loud as it was before. I said to not put his gains/settings up all the way but w/e he did it anyway.Could it have blown something? It still plays fine, jsut not with as much kick.

thanks

btw, its pushing 2 kicker comp vr 12's.

same system as my old one but with different settings on his amp.

BTW: He wired each dual 2 ohm sub to 4 ohms and put each sub into a diff channel on the amp. Dunno if thats taking the 4 ohms or 2 ohms. Either way it doesnt seem to have the same power.

Yeah,I told him not to put them up but he didnt listen //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif. His pre-outs are 2 volt.

There is an image attached of what his settings were...

er, you know, you should try and raise the LPF a lil higher, maybe a tad above 70, and then the bass boost and level can finally come down a notch (well, many many notches)
