Having been familiar with both forums extensively, I'd say they are equally immature (caraudio.com being more of the "I'm smarter, you're a retard, kill yourself" and ecoustics being more of the "duh...wtf is going on? i'm 14 and an idiot"). Neither site looks great if you're not into the "community". One thing is for sure though: there are way, way, way more intelligent people on caraudio.com than ecoustics. The ratio of intelligent to retarded works out to roughly the same, but on the right day, caraudio.com can make for some fairly formidable posting.

I would say the mixture of the various manufacturer's formums gives a "garden variety" of opinions. Even without sponsored forums here, you would think some of us are on Rainbow's payroll. (I think I would fall into that group as well)I haven't found a forum yet that's not immature.. ssa maybe, but with all the manufacturer forum's there, i look elsewhere for unbiased opinions

1) Is it just the hype? Meaning "I will be cool if I am the first one to reccomend this product"
or
2) Is there some real value behind the claims. Rolls Royce isn't a prestigious brand just because a bunch of rappers talk about them. There is some inherent value in the product.
