3. Looking for a New Brand of AMP, as I really am not enjoying the Boss amp. Mainly because instead of having my REM wire run from my amp to the HU, its connected from the REM on the amp right to the + terminal on my battery, therefore keeping the amp on all the time. And I know this isnt good for it what-so-ever. This was done because I couldnt get the amp to turn on when I connected the REM to the AMP Turn on wire out of the head unit...Happened with my friend who also bought the same amp. Am I missing something here?
4. When I turn my car off, (the amp's still on though) there's a very slight thump of bass that echos from the subs, and Im thinking its something w/ the ground wire, as its 8 gauge, and my power wire is 4 gauge, and the REM wire running from the +Battery to the amp is 8 gauge also. If I replaced the ground wire w/ 4 gauge or connected another 8 gauge piece to the amp / ground, would this stop?
5. Yeah, newbie question here Im sure, but on my amp, there's a "LPF" copper button, that if i press in, all the sound goes to one sub and seems louder, and if its depressed, both subs play. I always have this so both play, I assume this is "Low Passover Freq" or something, just dont know exactly what it does
My orginal thread is Here and it has pics of the stuff if youd like to take a gander. Any help on any of these questions would be much appriciated!
Thanks in advance
