Hey,

I was wondering if anyone could give me instructions on how to remove an aftermarket sony headunit from a 1997 ford mustang. It was in when i bought the car and it was not functional. I am unsure on how to get it out and I dont want to damage or break anything. Any help would be great. Thanks. - AK

Gently remove the trim piece, its held on by tabs, top first, up and out 1/8 inch, then the bottom. Two slots are on each side of the head unit in the middle. Two removal tools should be slid into these slots at the same time to release the locking clips. Slide the head unit out. The removal tools come with new head units or borrow a set from someone who's done an install, they look like a nail file.
