ive heard people marvel over these subs and ive read the entire thread by loyd about the 18 8s and id like to give like 8 of them a shot, i have a d1200.1 viper amp...would this be worth a try? id like to see what kinda numbers i could **** out of this. What does a single 8 run for, i know call for prices just wondering what they usually get for one

u can usualy get them for 50 or so each

and just hope u get the VC's to match up

well what vc configs are they availible in?, i can get 1200 at 1ohm meaning each would get around 150, which i figure is a good wattage for them. Also would like .85/per sub of airspace be enough ported?

so tell me, say i got 8 of them can i run them at 1ohm? i find it hard to calculate ohms with more than 4 subs lol...and if i could theyll each get 150 rms and id throw them in maybe a 6.5ft^3 box ported at like 32hz. Maybe even just go for 6 of them, 200w a piece in like a 5ft^3 box at 32hz. Just still wondering if i can wire them down to 1 ohm

For a lil extra per sub, and since you are buying 8 they usually drop the price down for ya, you can ask them to put a diff coil in there for ya. Call and ask em to see if they can make you 8 of em with SVC 8 ohm coils which would get you 1 ohm when you parallel wire them.
