6 months after the Tsunami Japan

I had mutliple friends who went down immediately with habbitat for humanity and started building homes for people... alot of people dontated, gave time and other goods to the people down there. The difference is Japan is like one state compared to our country. our economy was down, we were going to war, so its gonna take more time. New Orleans is a huge business town, alot of Japan that got hit is just small rural areas they can plow through.
I hear what your saying but you make it sound like nobody cares and nobody helped....
No one did really care, at least not on a large scale.

Never said that nobody cares or no body helped, but the cultural differences on something like this are drastic. The mindset is totally different.

 
I think it has more to do with the mindset of the govt's. The govt is the largest contributor to the clean-up/rebuild, and the over all organization, with such a large event as that. The problem with the US is, our govt has its head up its ass
