6 12s

What kind and sealed or ported? You have a ton of room to work with, how much are you willing to give up? It's not that hard to fit 6 12s in something big like an SUV, it just depends on what you are trying to do. I used to have 6 10's in a reg cab truck, so most anything is possible.

It will be a Equinox. Looking for sealed. I will be using Kicker Comp Vr 12"s. I know there is better out there but I already have 3 in my current car and they sound good.

There is a way to do it. I have 3 12s in the trunk of a cavalier so I should be able to put 6 in an equinox. I was thinking of having a box built that has 3 12s in the back firing toward the rear of the car and 3 12s closer to the back seats firing up.

No i dont think you can do it i HAve an Equinox i have tried there is so much you have to think about like the box should face and where they fire trust me it sounds like CRAP. and a 1500 class D thats not an amp thats a cup holder get something real. like an american pro....hah

nice motivational guy he is

anyway d say go for it. the comp vrs sound good, but youd be better off getting something else....or going ported. facing the subs in different directions may cause a little cancellation, so u may want to think about that too

If you decide to go with something else you could always try the new K series for elemental, or some of Re's bottom line subs. You can do 6 12's easy. A guy I know has 4 15's in a cutlass.

Good luck.....
