Hey I have a pioneer 4/3/2 1200 watt amp. I have a single polk db10" sub bridged on one channel and I have polk db+ 6.5" components on the other channel.
I also have polk MM 5x7s from a previous vehicle that will fit in the rear. I want to put them on the channel with the components. I realize I will lose fade. I don't see a caution to not wire them in series or parallel. All speakers are 4 ohm.
The amp is capable of 125w rms @2ohm. Just seeing if it is safe for the speakers.
The amp model is pioneer gm d8704
And a screen shot of the amp power rating and impedance info

What vehicle? Just curious. But personally, I wouldn’t run rear full. But if you insist, just run them off head unit power.
It's a chevy s10 ext cab. I built a box mount to my rear panel below the glass. The 5x7s were from my f250. The polk MMs are to good to just sit around. I wanna put them to use

Wiring wise your fine, the amp can take the 2 ohm load
What he is saying is right now your running 100 watts into your front end
You add those and although it ups the output of the amp it lowers the power to you fronts
So now your only running 62.5 to fronts
If you run them off the HU then you will not take anything away from the fronts which should be your main speakers
The rear is usually just for fill and doesn't need to have all that power running to it
