4 15'' Kicker CVR ~or~ 1 18" SoloX

i was just wondering which would hit harder and have the best SQ... i searched and didnt find anything compairing the two.... i would be giving either of the 2 1200 watt kicker amps. thanks

Well First off the Solo X will have no SQ. It is a comp SPL driver nothing more nothing less. IMO The 4 15's would probably hit better because they have a lot more surface area, and might have better SQ. I haven't heard either of them so I could be completly wrong but I doubt it...

yea i beleive the 4 15s would hit as hard if not harder and have better sq then the 18 but thats in my opinion, peace

When I read the thread title I thought to myself, "this guy must be into SPL comps", then I see you have a desire for good SQ?

When I think SQ I think "good sound for daily driving". But then in YOUR case I can't see why you would want that many drivers & that amount of wattage for a daily system.

Please clear this up if you would. Is this for comps, or for daily? Bcuz I wouldn't want to recommend either for daily, reason being I would feel some guilt for recommending something to you that will literally make you deaf soon. Literally.

Also, if this is for daily, what kind of components or other in-car speakers do you plan on using to keep the bass from drowning the mids and highs out?

The Solo X has a won a few SQ awards if you didn't know...........but thats in some hands of some pro's.
