3.5"s as tweets or not?

My new dodge has two spots in the dash for 3.5" speakers, I was wondering what your opinions were on using those as my tweets, or should I also put tweets somewhere? I am going to use two sets of 6x9s as my mids, cause I think they are louder and sound better than say 6.5s. But I just wanted some other opinions.

get rid of those factory speakers and put some other ones in their place then i would go ahead and get some tweeters if you really like those highs

They're not factories, there is actually nothing there cause I just bought the ST package. I was gonna put some Fosgate or Infinity 3 1/2s run them off the radio cause they only handle like 23 RMS. I am not sure about liking the highs, I have never put tweets in a vehicle before just really good mids, but I am trying to get my ride sounding pretty good, so I thought I would put some Fosgate (can you tell I am partial to them, and would like to keep everything the same), or some infinities tweets. Maybe a component system, but was told my 6x9s would drowned out my 6.5s and the tweets if i bought the component.

I would say that trying to use them as tweeters is not a bad idea and probably worth trying....If you don't like it just get you money back or add some tweets to it....It won't hurt you to have them both so I would try it.....
