2nd Amp Install Question

Hey,

I have a question on installing a 2nd amp. It is just a very small 100 watt amp for my 6x9's. I have a 760 watt amp fr my subs, and I was wondering how I install my new one in link with that.

First of all MTX, you don't have to have it in "link" with the other amp. If your deck has a second set of RCA outputs just run that back to where your new amp is and hook it up that way. If not, you could split the signal for left and right with a couple of 1 female to 2 male adapters but that actually degrades your sound so that is a last resort. So if you have a 2nd set of outputs on your deck run another set straight back to your new amp. If it doesn't and you don't want degrade your sound I would suggest an active crossover to be mounted right where your amps are.
