I have a 2016 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Limited. On a recent road trip, the music stopped during my drive. It was really odd. It almost sounds like a bad cable can sound. It kind of makes that type of noise of the music then fades to "black". This occurs with both radio & CarPlay. It makes no difference. Additionally, Siri's voice comes through loud & clear during these blackouts. Sometimes the sound returns while the car is still on & sometimes is does not. There is no predictable pattern, except that it will definitely cut on/off once again. I have done a software update, as well as the smart junction box recall. I also checked the fuses & they all seemed to be plugged in. That's not to say one might not be going bad? What's happening with my car? Anyone know?

Well, there is always a bypass that can be McGuyvered. So next time you want to tackle that task, post it. We can help.
