Im trying to make a big upgrade to my audio system in my 2013 honda fit, this is what i want to buy right now. Is this good to start out with? I also need to know if this can support an amp to power a sub because i want one in the future when i have the money.

But you're only talking a bit more for everything ($40.00) than the same stuff and the Mtx's you were looking at and the Dynaudio coaxial, miles above the Mtx in every way shape or form - it's not even close.
Then when you get an amp, you'll be super glad, cuase these speakers, given 75-100 watts, will absolultey stun, amazing quallity, not just volume.
The MTX, not so much, almost like a throw away temp speaker comparativley.

That's a pretty good start if the radio is installed properly. For the constant power, to the head-unit, run a 14-gauge wire directly from the battery to the radio. This will give your radio the power it needs to sound good. The MTX speakers will be good, but they are designed to be playing with an amp, so they are not very efficient. Check out some Pioneers and see if any of those sound good. Pioneer makes some pretty efficient speakers.
