who can design a box like this or figure out port lenght and height?

or can someone check, if i have a box that is 9.7 before port, a port that is 100 sq inches and 17" lond with tunhing of 33hz is that right? and what would that leave me with after port displacement

what is the smallest sq inches of port for 2 15s?

I built a box like that for an expedition that has two Diamond Audio D3 15's and it slams balls deep.

If it were me, I would build something that is 8 cubes net with 120 square inches of port tuned to 33 Hz.

In this situation it's a no-brainer. Always opt for new equipment when the difference is this small. I just like being the first owner.

Also, according to several people on this forum the Orion 2500 D will play .5 ohms daily, but I'm not going to stake anything on that.

Im looking at box sizes for my pair of xxx 15's as well. Think Im gonna start with sealed boxes, then move to ported. but, IMO, you want a bare minimum of 8 cubes PLUS port/sub displacemenet/bracing/material thickness etc etc. Im figuring when I build mine, I'll probably be using 12-14 cubes total. But, Im also going to build individual enclosures and bolt them together. No way my xxx's are going to share a common chamber.
