how do you go about giving your employer a two week notice. the job i have now is not a job i should get the pay i receive. we get payed 6.25 to stock a store, yet target gives 8.50+ to stock. so i need to put in a two week notice once i find me something else.

lol i remember for my first job in Albertsons. I worked there for like around 4 weeks and just quit on the spot. i was like fuk the 2 week notice and left. lol o wellz.

i usually only gave one week notice. i gave 2 weeks at a job where i knew i would have to train my relief. i usually just walk up to the boss and tell them.

tip: don't mention anything at all until you have set a starting date with your new employer.

i worked at a supermarket and asked my manager "do i need to put in a 2 week notice if i'm going to quit?"..."yes, but put it in writing too."

so i wrote it on receipt tape on the spot and taped it on his door lol. not exactly professional, but i couldnt care less.

IIRC, they are only allowed to ask if you were a good employee, nothing else.

You only need to put in 2 weeks notice if you plan to work for that company again in the future. If you arent going to want to go back to one of their stores and apply, the fuck it...
