No joke, I got a tiny table saw, basic jig saw, old router and a belt sander all for like 40 bucks at the pawn shop. I still use the belt sander and jig saw all the time. Im from the boonies, everything is DIY out here lol

thats the best pawn shop i ever heard of, around here they sell used stuff for more than i can buy it at lowes..

yeah i now don't have say saws son took 1 circular saw i had and no i could not cut straight enough with that to make a box anyway, also i don't have even a truck to get wood here or a jigsaw or router or clamps or anyone to help so yeah pretty unable with just my 20v drill.. and no i don't wanta spend $300-$500 for tools to make a $150 box

This hobby is for some people. Nuff said.

I use my tools for other things too fyi...not just build enclosures.

Home depot or lowes will cut your wood for free..

I had them cut a full cut sheet for a 2 12" box way back in the day. Some cuts were slightly off but nothing not fixable with some sanding.

Oh gotcha. @shredder1 is also disabled, if I'm not mistaken, and he has a HUGE jump over gramps. Just look at the amount of work he's done in the past 6 months....a few boxes and soon a enclosure designer. What improvements has gramps made?

exactly my point u had some tool to begin with and a truck i don't.. people could build their own houses too if they had 10k in tools but most buy them.. don't hear u getting on other peeps every week cause they pay $250 -$500 or more for boxes and walls..

Just beware tho...their saw may/may not be square. So when you get home and start assembling those pieces, they may not fit to the enclosure drawing. I've had as much as 1/4" diff from one edge to another.

u ain't never commented on ct sounds strato, fi alpha or reg 3" coil cab?, it has some reviews now they say they great of course has cheap basket, jeff said strato good in friends system, paper dork888555 says fi or get the b2 but i was looking at strato cause it says 1.5cf box and it's like $65 off price of newer model that is out of stock, i gotta get a deal., seller (ct dude) says my box will work and he'll warranty it, the 1/2 a*s wins model i did looks ok (can't find 2016 specs) jeff did it says looks good with little bigger box and 2"w port.. u are the 1st to get on me for 'buying or looking at crap'' so i ask before i buy like i did with hu and amp i got what kr and others recommended but only have 2 peeps weighing in on the subs..
