2 RF HE's or 1 RF HE2?

I'm running a HiFonics Hurcules amp(mono 375 watts rms @ 2 ohms). I've been running a pair of Kicker Comp 12's for years now and they just can't take it anymore. Looking to go with Rockford for a change but am wondering, what would give me the most powerful bass, 2 4ohm HE 15" paralleled or a single HE2 15" wired at 2ohms?

I would say the two HE's would be louder due to the double cone area. I would go with the two subs.

No they don't. They aren't SPL or handle gobs of power, but they sound good in a modest sealed enclosure. HE2 sounds good as well and handles a bit more power obviously.

what size of ported box would you do? and what port tuning?

and has more usable throw. The he's downfall was excursion. They reached mechanical limits way before thermal. Id say it is very comparable to an re re (**** cone)

i actually just got a 15 inch HE2. gonna put it in 4 cubes tuned to 32hz.

For a standard HE I wouldn't port. It's pretty much a sealed (or in my application IB) woofer.

However this is all moot thanks to your revival of one hell of an old *** thread.
