2 ported or 3 sealed

i'd guess 2 ported. in theory when you port you gain 3 dB and when you double the number of speakers you gain 3 dB. Since you wouldn't be doubling the # of speakers vs porting, i'd guess that ported would be louder.

Overall, I bet it'd be pretty close. If you haven't bought anything yet then 2 might be cheaper as well.

well I already have 3 cvrs and I was thinking of porting them but I figure that might be to much for my daily driving

id' port all 3 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif if you can't take it, then just turn it down //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I'm in the thought process for my first box and I just don't feel that comfortable trying to build one for all 3. Thats why I am thinking of just doing the 2

Do you gain 3db per speaker that you port vs. sealed? Just trying to understand when you will gain 3 db when porting.
