2 mtx 6000 12's

will 250 watts bridged into 4 ohms of an mtx amp make a good sound improvement 4 2 mtx 6000 12's over my existing 2 pioneer 10's. i can get the mtx's 4 150 in a box, and im wondering if its worth it, i wanna keep my same amp.

Well one 6000 12" can handle 250 RMS. They will play no problems, but I have 280 watts running my MTX 6000 10". Larger speaker means more power to run them. I would see if you could hear the subs in your car with your amp. It would be an improvment from the Pioneers. you will only be suppling the subs with 125 watts each, and they really wouldnt be pushed to their full potential...
