2 12a's definitely have the potential to get louder

I would personally take the 12a's just because they'll require the same power as the one XXX and will get louder, I also can't imagine they would sound any worse depending on the enclosure. Its sort of a toss up, they both have their advantages and disadvantages even though they are very minimal.

I agree with xjmadness assuming you put them in a good box. Go with the e12a's you have more surface area and that is good. XXX's are good subs, plan on getting one when i have the money but like i said take the 2 e12a's

I agree with xjmadness assuming you put them in a good box. Go with the e12a's you have more surface area and that is good. XXX's are good subs, plan on getting one when i have the money but like i said take the 2 e12a's
