2 10" or 1 12" sub diff in SQ?

Is there a big difference in SQ when using 1 12" or 2 10" subs. This is for a quad cab pick up so the sub or subs will be real close to me. I plan on purchasing Image Dynamics IDQ series and was curious if there would be a big difference in a 1 or 2 sub set up. Such as stereo sound etc...

the 12 willl get lower. but the 2 10's would need more room and would get louder.

well more cone area , so i would say 2 10"

The big reason is if i go with 2 10's i loose all my storage and jack mount. If i go with 1 12" i could get the Q-logic box for between the seats in the rear and still have storage.

do u really need storage? if so im sure one 12 right behind u will be plenty

I could definitely use the space back there. Amps and cd changer will be under the front seats. I wouldnt have room for jumper cables, jack, tools and moto/x equiptment.

1 12" sealed will sound really good.

Thanks ya all very much. I have decided to go with a single IDQ 12" in a Q logic box http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/QLCQLC1DTX112B1

I dont have much of a choice considering the room I have to work with and the fact I would loose all storage and room for the jack. It may not be the best way,but it seems like the only way to have the best of both worlds.

Why dont u just build your own box? You live in New Jersey too why do you need a truck? to get groceries? Design a box to fit inbetween ur seats so you wont loose Extended cab.

I would build my own box, but my woodworking skills are not up to par.

I need a truck to,yes get groceries and get my dirt bike to and from the track or the woods, 4 wheeling and we get snow in NJ too. Plus I just like trucks
