I have a 1995 Toyota Camry with the 4cyl. It has the slowest pickup of any car i have ever driven and is just slow over all. What can i do to it?

Thank your lucky stars you have never driven a S-10 w/ a 2.2L. Who cares how fast it goes, you only arrive at the gas station quicker to pay your $2.00 a gallon.

Man, I can't find hardly a dang thing for a camery with a four-banger; only thing I found was a K&N style air filter.

Looks like your only options are a K&N style air filter and get a muffler shop to weld in a less restrictive custom cat-back exhaust; but don't expect big results.

Dude, next time get at least the V6 model. That car is too big for a four cylinder anyway--especially with an automatic.

Holy cow do I know what you're talking about. I had a 94 maxima that just had it's tranny go out so now I'm driving our 1996 camry, talk about a difference. If it weren't for the stereo I don't know if I could stand to drive the thing. Oh well, hopefully a 4th gen maxima is in my near future =P

I'm driving a 95 camry...yeah it's slow, but what do you need speed for? I understand the desire to go fast, but in reality nobody uses the speed, and those who do are dumbasses. Just my opinion

there is absolutely nothing you can do to the camry that is worthwile...basically you won't have funds to do it...just ride the car for a few years and save up for a better one...

now if u had a civic or an accord then that be a whole different ball game since those cars have good aftermarket parts unlike camry

Well here's an idea; join your local SCCA chapter and get involved in a teen autocross club. If you work hard to learn it, you'll learn how to handle a car well so when your able to get a better one, you should be able to handle it well (And be a better driver overall).

Yah theres not much point in spending money on the ole grocery getter. Just save your pennys and in a while you might be able to get something better. but if you r really determined on making your camry faster you can look at a TRD supercharger kit. it costs about as much as the car is worth.lol. sorry Im not much help but it is a camry. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
