I believe I've seen where it says that the Solo-X has won some SQ awardsWell solo-x's are pretty much meant for SPL only, sound like *** warmed over. While Im no fan of L7's generally (they are... okay), they'll sound alot better than solo-x's, but not get as loud. Your choice from there.
Have you ever heard a Solo-X before?4 15 l7's/2 solo x 18's? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wacky.gif.cf4a48f9e6dfe9504ffd2c946fd2f340.gif you know how much space your gonna need for that?let alone how much that would weigh???? especially with the solo x's they'd be over 200 pounds worth of subs.i'd go for the L7's over solo x's.solo x's sound terrible //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/sick.gif.b1847c8dabbfeeddbcf1a78052249e10.gif ,if they won a sq comp that would have to be a GREAT install, cause they really do sound bad.
No, some SQ cars which had Solo X's have won SQ comps, and they did NOT use the Solo X's for SQ judging, they used regular L7s...I believe I've seen where it says that the Solo-X has won some SQ awards![]()
yeah i've heard the 18 and 2 12 solo x's on many occasions for comps/and music and they really do pound don't get me wrong. But they sound horrible with music,i prefer the SQL subs that get really loud while sounding good, and can put up decent numbers.but thats just me ,try and hear a solo x for yourself,if you into sq you probably won't like it,but who knows?Have you ever heard a Solo-X before?
I'm not doubting that you have, but I just want to make sure you've heard them in different setups before you go around telling people what they sound like. I myself haven't heard them yet, so I can't say what they may sound like.
