158.8 db on dash

ot: when's the dB moneky's gonna be available? I, for one, would sure like to see it in action:)//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I personally have invested alot of time and I mean alot of my time on the weekends building boxes. Ive owned a classic term lab for a few months now, and even with the resources and amount of time I have spent the highest # I have put up is a 153.2 and thats on my mic, not an official "USACi" mic that this guy claims to have put up. Im no expert and my #'s are not impressive considering the amount of money and time I have spent. Im not ashamed to admit it could be better but Im learning and have come a long way. It irritates me there are people that would actually even have the slightest intuition that this guy out up any kind of # close to the one claimed.
Get a life, and find other ways to irritate people.....
Man if you use MSN messenger hit me up some time, rickster3000@hotmail.com. See what you're running and stuff like that, seems like our cars might have quite a bit in common. I just bought a classic termlab a month ago or so and only have done 150.6. Hopefully some new equipment to come and get over the 155 mark...

I'm posting, only because I was harassed last night on AIM by this person..
Did he hit those scores? sure.. did he do it on the dash? nope...

While he conviently cut off the rest of his scoresheet.. that Whitlee class allows mic placement anywhere in the vehicle... and IN the port if its larger than 8" x 8".. so he'd be quite stupid, to run on the dash, when everyone else wouldn't be..

those scores are OUTLAW, on a very easy Audiocontrol meter... I'm betting the mic was placed in the rear of the cab.. which is legal per last years Whitlee rules..

even though I see zero reason to join a forum, and ******** us about a score from a year ago, he picked the wrong man to IM and attempt to harrass..

because I'm quite familiar with Whitlee... been there.. and done it myself..

needless to say, he's blocked on my AIM, under two names.. and you all should just do the same.. he's lying to us, for some stupid reason, and isn't worth the time to argue with...

oh yeah.. here's the rules to Whitlee... http://www.whitleemag.com/spl_rules.htm

buddy.. next time pick a different person to ********.. you won't get it past me

on a side note, somewhat germane to this situation.. I was at a MECA show up here last month.. first show of the year for MECA in WV.. had a bunch of Whitlee competitiors show up.. bragging about their big numbers... couple of them just happened to end up in my class.. nice guys, don't get me wrong.. but quite certain that their 'high 50's' would put them safely past my vehicle..

long story short... not a one of them got within 3 db of me... they didn't return for the next show 3 weeks later..

I didn't even think about asking for the rest of the score sheet.

You too? He was a major dick in the chat last night. He's also on my block list and he's going in the sig. He kept asking what a TL mic was, we told him, but he kept asking what it was. He aslo kept asking where can he find scores and sometitions were, we told him to goto TermPro, he deined and kept on asking about where he can find them. What a dipshit!

reading this post, seeing that some people actually believe this leads me to believe that most of you have not been in a car pushing those kind of #'s. I've been in a car hitting around that a few times and it really is hard to breath, and it hurts your ears instantly, its not safe to listen to at all IMO, and I like bass. If you made a recording of a grenade blowing up, then put it into the cd player of the shop owners car I know it would probably make your ears bleed just like a grenade would. There is no way in the world that he is REALLY doing even high 140's. I guarantee my setup now is as loud as that and ALL i have is a sealed xxx 15" with 2000w.

For those of us who CAN do upper 150's to mid 160's LEGAL (which means on the dash) on classic termlabs and A/C's let me say that his install isn't that loud to do a 158 and change on the dash on ANY of todays meter.

If his score was as 'buff' as he thinks it is/was, then he'd be leading everyone in street A this year much less last year.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

But I've got 50 bux that says that install wouldn't break a 145 legal on the termlab sensor following dB drag rules.

Im with Loyd 100%. His score may have very well been considered 'Legal' per whitlee rules, however that is not truely "legal." Add that to the fact that it was on the SOFTEST meter ever used in the industry and there you go...lol

Perspective is everything.

Ive known Oob for awhile, i found it hard to believe myself. Especially when you have kids by me running 4 12"s and only hitting 145db. How does he hit 158dbs? On a soft meter maybe? That i do not know. I hate rockfords, i want their business to die. This IS possible, but it has to be the most perfect set up ive ever seen. Perfect amount of airspace, perfect enclosure, perfect amount of watts. There is no way that a pair of 10"s could hit 158s, but his did. I give the kid props. To call him a loser and a liar based on only on a judged opinion isnt right.

Umm, i'm just curious, how did you witness him do that number when you're in ohio and he's in louisiana?

Just curious.....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

Like I was getting at on page 1...this has to be an outlaw score.

I've been in vehicles turning 158s+ and you're just not going to get that out of a regular truck box. Period.
