just cause you recone it doesnt mean its worht more, if anything its less, i reconed my btl 18 and didnt get squat for it
Why would replacing the soft parts and coil with better components and subsequently increasing the power handling by 1000w not increase the price?

that doesnt matter, it means the woofer has been abused, and most likely blown. just because ya fix it doesnt make it worth more. my 18" was psi build same exact thing almost just BETTER, and didnt get more than the 600 i paid originally for it
Hahaha I have the stock twin of this sub and it is still in perfect shape... You obviously havent Seen Corey's work cuz PSI is not better thats for sure

i aint here to argue man, more friends ya got here the better. sorry for dumping but i just dont think its worth it, i loved my Fi and wanted to ask every penny for it i paid for it, but it wasnt worth it and i sold it for 100 less than what i paid for the subwoofer originally, but like i said i apologize for dumpin'. GLWS

I get what your saying but when Corey builds a Recone a lot of money goes into the parts to assure it will hold up to a lot so it is gunna cost more then a stock recone... Granted Fi has pretty good soft parts, I love the matching sub to this one in my buddies truck...

The original sub with fi soft parts was rated at 1500w rms I never sent it more than 650w rms. I updated the soft parts with Corey for 180 plus all the shipping back and forth. He rated the sun at 2500w rms. I sent the sub 2400w from a dd m3 for a few hours over 2 days. Then I had a car accident and My car was totaled, it has been sitting in my room since, still stiff as a board. The soft parts are Better than the original parts from Fi and the coil is larger. I'm not even asking anywhere close to the 460 that the sub cost to make. That is not including the shipping from fi to me or to Corey and back. I don't see any logic in saying that Im asking too much.
