10inch subs for around 100

what are some good 10 inch subs for around 100$

i'm looking for good sound quality i dont want it to be "boomy". Whats the benifit of having 2 subs over 1. I'm leaning on just getting one. I'm going to put it in a sealed box.

I've also heard good things about the Alpine type S, I'm probably going to go with one of those myself and put it in a ported enclosure. I was also told that the Memphis pb104's that I found priced at 60 dollars are very good for the buck.
