I literally just found the same problem I'm Having. Going toward just returning the amp and getting something else.
This guy had a crappy LOC, switched it out and still the same issue. Got a replacement amp and still had issues.
Gain problems?
Do you have an amp you can borrow from a friend to rule that out? If it’s getting good signal now as you say, all you’re wiring is in order I.e. power & ground and sub wiring, it’s still not working how you think it should I’d try another amp even if it’s underpowered I've been running...
