1 or 2 amps?

Is it better to power 2 subs with 2 seperate amps or juss one big one with the same amount of watttage from each amp or would 2 class D amps be better than 2 muti channel amps btw is it normal that amps can get really hot barely enough to touch for like less than 1 sec thx

 
you dont have to worry about setting the gains/crossover points incorrectly on seperate amps. and you dont have to wire 2 different amps.

Additinally, no need to reference "max" anything as those specs are useless. Most of know how to look at specs for a given speaker, amp, HU, etc...

You don't need two amps. The speakers come with crossovers to help protect the tweeters.

Perhaps you changed something without mentioning it here? Maybe a loose turn on line? I dunno man...but we'll take it. Hopefully it keeps working. 👍
