thanx for all of your help it is greatly appreciated you have solved one hell of a problem for me. my amp is a soundstream 10.2 high current it is stable to 0.25 inbridge/mono at 4ohms it only does 25watts and at 0.50 it only does 200watts but at 0.25ohms it does 1000watts so you can see why i need to get to a 0.25ohm thanx a lotOriginally posted by billetz23 j rock-------- what kind of amp is it
( high curent) and what brand (example)
kicker xs 100, orion hcca, etc
if you amp is stable at 0.25 in bridge/mono
then you can use -
4 each -- dual 2ohm voice coil subs wired in parallel
for a 1/4 ohm load to your amp or
4 each-- dual 2ohm voice coil subs wired in
series/parallel for a 1ohm load
to you amp or
4 each-- dual 4ohm voice coil subs wired in parallel
for a 1/2 ohm load to your amp or
2 each--dual 2ohm voice coil subs wired in
parallel for a 1/2 ohm load to your amp![]()
