    I ended up going with 1 1/2" #10-32 solid brass bolts and soldered ring terminals. I know they're not aluminum or copper but brass is next in line before stainless... I think it came out great!

    I like this idea... Bolt / washer / the two 8 AWG ring terminals / washer / lockwasher / nut and push in... Nice! Any bolt from Home Depot? I wonder if they have small copper bolts...

    I actually have these... They don't fit unless you grind em down. If I did that, the fat part of the reducers would touch. I guess I could use electrical tape to separate them but that's ghetto. I'll just shave em down.

    I have an 18" AA Havoc D2 with spring loaded push terminals. I have 8AWG Knu Karma pushed through the enclosure for a direct connection. I thought abou bolts but I'd rather put the wore straight to the sub. So I can't get the two wires to fit in the push terminals. I can barely get one...

    Also, spend the extra 100 or so and get the 270 and > HO alternator... It's the amperage at Idle you want... My stock was a 165A but significantly less at idle and my lights dimmed with a large AGM up front and the big tree.

    Yeah that was the same dude... These Eclipses seem pretty nice... I don't care how it looks because it's going in the center console. I'd take a beat up looking one... That Alpine seems promising also. I don't mind spending 225 but getting a used clean amp for 150.00 is even better...

    Thanks guys... How about the Precision Power amps? PPI BK800.4? I remember PP being great back in the day... I'm also considering the Soundstream DTR4.680. I have the DTR.3400 powering my Havoc's. Any thoughts on that 4-channel?

    So my voltage drop is fine? My lights dim. It *****. I want to feed the DTR clean... A battery wouldn't stop the dimming... Maybe I'll just go with a 270 by tenney. I think they're 170 at idle. Wonder what the 200a is at idle...

    I will but it's between brands... If I go the alternator route, I'm going with Tenney. He's a new startup with a lifetime warranty. Seems promising. I'd rather save the $50.00 if I could get away with a 200 amp. It's 135 amps at idle I believe.
