Clinton entered office as a centrist candidate/flexible candidate. Worry over that type of political flexibility damped Hillary Clinton's support.

I don't know what happened to the political center. The last presidential election had record turnout and neither candidate really pandered to the center. It's like the center has just evaporated into thin air.
