  1. Silverado box under rear bench seat 3 inch modified C - channel seat lift for clearance. Crescendo 4 k amp "Four soundqubes hds2.110s The box build has a few usual designs that have been done seen on YouTube, forward firing Faceplate made 55 inches width "length of the bench seat" x 11 inches tall . Back plate 55" across x7" tall the depth is the my variable for adding subtracting to achieve 3.25cbft based on a few odd symmetrical shapes at the trans hump. Other then that it's a fairly squared shape box build for two 10s on pass side and two 10s on driver side I just am trying to calculate with 3.25cbft internal after displacement how can I tune an aeroport for 33-35hz I will only have a max of 4" diameter port to fit off one end of the box. I'm a decent box builder for sealed applications, just having a hard time coming to terms for a aeroport . Excuse my somewhat newbness. All legit answers /help are appreciated and works great for me other then peoples sarcasm which never pays it forward in life. Thanks in advance follow audio friends .
  2. 4 soundqubed hds2.110 subs 4k amp , it is 3.25cbft after all neccessary displacement for 4 of these particular woofers regardless of box design. I did rely on a somewhat reputable port size calculator that bases port size on cbft number of ports and desired tune/hz.
  3. 52.0 sq inch " vent x 20" long What is this equivalent of that for Round aeroport diameter and length ? Just makes no sense I know the calaculated port dimensions I need for Four 10" subwoofers at 3.25cbft total, but i am going round aeroport route not slot vented. 52.sq means what ? The total port area? But if the specs say 52.0sq x 20" L what size aero port would that equivelate too? Seems every subwoofer company calculates a generic pdf box design for a bias 🤣 slot port recommendation as if aeroport isnt a option. I calculated for a 3.25cbft box after port and woofer displacement with One single round port 4 inches in diameter x 5.58" in length to achieve 35hz tuning. Or one 6" Inch port at 14.75" long. Can anyone very this with your method of calculating ? The Port length seems like it would be shorter for a 6" diameter port and need to be longer for a 4 inch port. Unless I'm wrong.
  4. Anybody ever find out why mechman Discontinued they're External voltage regulator module ? It was a popular dial in module that could mount inside vehicle and control voltage!
  5. Why do simple O.P Posts get so off topic 6 pages later? Replies should be on point about the initial question at hand , so people can pay it forward with correct informative knowledge.
  6. Looking to save $ on adding a 2nd battery to my silverado along with mechman 320 alt. I really just wanna save cost on batteries not trying spend 300-500$ on yellow top which seem to have failures and xs power to me is not affordable currently . I have a crescendo 4k and 4 soundqubed hds2.110s , I read a article that adding a second battery can actually cause more issues. If I ran two simple 12v car batteries "New " a long with mechman 320 and big 3 would that suffice? What am I gaining by shelling out 600-800 on dual xs or optimas? Especially when yellow tops have horrible reviews and people claim they're not what they use to be.
  7. I have this a600/4 sitting around for 3 years I got out of a car dealer trade in. I didn't realize it was 13 yrs old model, anyone know if this is still a good model built like the PC Series ? I was trying sell it or use it. It need a power plug i lost it, and its missing the badge off the top that lights up . Any ideas on what resale is worth ?
  8. Anyone? Any help? Will a pac sn1 fix this between the headunits Av IN and the Hdmi converter?
  9. Gttting some buzzing weirdness during AV Sfreen mirroring function on my double din. All wires are clean fed and secured and crimped. Nothing when i play radio only when I introduce AV Mode to use my AV To hdmi adapter for my belkin miracast dongle. It never did it on my Kenwood unit , is there a noise suppressor piece i can use in the Headunit rca AV red and black inputs inline between the rca to hdmi module to cancel out any white noise ? Its probably the headunit cause its Android headunit junk but I use it for now for the media purposes .
  10. I have two 8s center console build due to space on the back wall of truck that subs gonna be inverted. I'm understanding I need to reverse polarity only on the inverted sub? Do I just put the + wire on the - lead and the - wire on the + lead of only the inverted speaker? Here's the tricky part these subs are technically in one box sealed apart in separate aero ported chambers
  11. Can't find a visual illustration of Soundqubed hds2 8" sub specs Not on there site or Google ... I need the magent diameter and basket specs and over all diameter before I go any further with this console box build seeing as it's a particular design all I'm getting is a 5.5" mount depth. Why is sundown practically the only company that cares to post complete basket magnet and depth specs etc and more ...
  12. I'm looking to do something different with wrapping my new box other then standard charcoal box carpeting. I can't find any place that offers colors or something blue or red or maroon... Amazon is a loss for it.. Anyone know where good spot / website is for exotic box wraps or color carpet materials that are glueable . I kinda remember even seeing a sundown box wrapped with the sundown logo .
  13. That's a impressive amp Dyno Any other tank like built nano or smaller amps that have solid performance? The reviews are mixed a bit especially with people saying that taramps probably beefed up that particular 1200.1 and 1800.1 amp that bigDwiz dynoed . They seem to be efficient with proper or over suppled voltage. It's a possibility for me but there has to be some other options built like tanks that handle efficiency diff that can dip down to 12.6 or 10v and not stress out knwong for running and running without I'll effect . I can actually go larger on my sub amp but I'm gonna be limited to space with my 4 channel either or one has to be smaller in size . What's that company in North Carolina that makes a Class D mono 1600.1 that had really good reviews that can only be had direct purchase for like 199 they sell it all red with black letter or black with red lettering .
  14. View Listing S10/sonoma standard cab Dual 8" Subwoofer center console box Looking to sell my custom made s10/sonoma center console sub box I made earlier this year 95% finished . Designed only for automatic column shift and bucket seats only . This would also work for Extended can truck It's made 1/2 MDF braced inside in some areas original made for Sundown SA 8 Woofers but it will work for almost any small cbft woofer. Let it be known this is not a box of specs perfection it is not down to the science of perfect internal cbft for any given woofer it's made for anything that will do .5 cbft to 1.0 cbft The front of the box is contoured to fit against the S10 sonoma dash and it does block off the ash tray area perfectly . A little area was left for your own cup holder design . Paint or carpet or tweak the box how you'd like from here . The hard part has been finished. NOTE: You " Absolutely" have to remove driver side Bucket seat to set the box in place from driver side it will not fit Into place between the bucket seats unless you take out one seat first .This is a VERY Snug fit but it will fit seats will be nice and tight against the box sides .If you have narrower after market seats then all the better ! Each sub chamber is sealed but you can add aero ports at your own will you will need to figure out the internal space and if you need to add multiple ports or even external ports to come out behind the seats based on the internal area limitations for aero ports. The box has been sanded rounded edges internall Dynamat and body filled/sanded the top and primed for paint . Not a perfect job but like i said it's 95% crafted and looks well fits snug. Leave sealed or Add your ports and own paint scheme or carpet and be done. It's built well. 100$ for the box local pickup or you may cover 100% of shipping cost from 48134 zip code .
