  2. Bump - Would like to see how people exactly did this task.
  3. happen to have any videos or instructions on how one would go about doing that? What about the aluminum roll? I would like to help resist heat as this cars a **** oven.
  4. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JGbzumMWVaJd_qGZE5fa-aeowlZKDpNt/view?usp=sharing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r1KEnOQdd-M Good afternoon folks, So yesterday I took out my headliner because I know some welds broke. What I didn't know was that the whole roof of the car was actually glued? it's some kind of hard foam glue too that was completely detached so every time I closed my door it looked like one giant subwoofer flex. What are some ideas and tips that you guys can toss my way to 1) re-bond the roof and cross framing together and possible reinforce it with cross steel beams? 2) thermal control 3) Sound deaden I was thinking JB-Weld my whole **** roof back down JB-Weld Reflective roll Sound board to dampen noise. I was tempted to buy Lizard skin both sound control and thermal barrier and spray my whole roof/floor area. That or just install NVX NVX 90 Mil

    HARD hits/Punches not loud

Don't think Plywood is on the table of options lol... It's a family car and I'm sure my wife will flip her ****! I'll look into those other brands of sound deadening.

    HARD hits/Punches not loud

It's funny you mentioned that... It actually has a broken weld on the roof in the back so I need to take the upholstry off and JB-Weld that back together.. I was going to do the whole lining when i dyno the interior.

I wonder why Sonic says that the GTO609 will not fit. 6.5" mid +tweeter... maybe the depth? or should I ignore that suggested sizing?

I've always been a huge fan of JBL since the power series 10 ish years ago. I would most likely prep the door perfectly first as I don't think I'll be getting a sub any time soon. I plan on putting sound barrier inside the doors + foam ring around the speaker to prevent vibrations. I noticed that they don't offer mid woofers only in the matching line. Would it be weird to buy two sets of the components and not use the tweeters in the back set? or should I just get a 2way coax for more and call it a day.

    HARD hits/Punches not loud

I had no idea 1" really made that big of a difference.... OHH that makes much more sense then! Yeah I'm looking for punchy! So smaller tuned 35hz... Now I don't know if I'll be able to hit 145db that may be out of budget... Scion XB so mini mini van lol

Option 1) NVX 6.5 Component Option 2) JBL GTO609 Component Does anyone have experience with these two? I'm looking at getting a set for my front as the stock scion XB speakers are blah. I can't stand scratchy treble.

    HARD hits/Punches not loud

Good MorEvenight Ladies and Gents, I'm on a quest that I don't actually understand honestly. I had a friend with a 13W7 H.O box and i absolutely loved the HIT/feel/punch of the bass. Almost as if I was getting kicked in the back. The best part about it? it wasn't even insanely loud at distances! So I ended up purchasing an FI Q12 running 900RMS on a T-Line that someone here designed for me years ago in hopes to re-create that sound. It was nice and clear sounding but I still craved that hard kick of a toddler kicking your back on an airplane. Couple years later and a new car I'm in the search again to obtain this bass bliss of mine.. Is it possible to get that deep hard hits with other brands that don't cost 1k? I wish I knew a JL dealer so I wouldn't have to pay MSRP ha.

In your opinion do you think I'll actually hear the difference between 2 way coaxial vs a component at such low power ratings?
