Adding 3.5mm jack to my old car stereo

You can get mp3 to radio adapter thing. My mate had one. You plug it into the cigarette lighter. Than plug your aux into it and it gives off a radio frequency for your radio. Probably not much dearer to just get a new radio and will be a bit better and last you another 10 years before you wanna upgrade again.

    Brands comparison

Hi friends. I know that comparing brands is always hard to do but id like to know what the men of the higher end audio world consider to be top Brands (Best quality), as well as what the men of the more budget minded customers consider to be the best bang for buck. Mostly just as a general guide as I think most of us have difficulty comparing similar items from different brands across all levels of car audio. Thanks in advance.

    Cadence quality

Not really looking to buy anything at the moment. I was just curious about the reputation of cadence really.

    Cadence quality

Can anyone tell me how good the quality of cadence gear is. I seen it at the local shop a while ago and it was a bit cheaper than the other stuff they had but I was told by the staff member there they wernt very good and the that the amps would most likely be over rated. They generally push the JL gear or kicker and I feel as though there just being brand biased. Thx in advance.

    Worst song with best rhythm/beat

Fack by Eminem. I think his goal was to win this category. The type of song no one wants to listen to but has got a really good beat behind it.

    Build around Alpine X 12"

Mostly hip hop and rap. Have been thinking about doing a ported box and will most likely get around to building one soon. I still want an amp capable of running it at full power though. At the moment I'm leaning towards the alpine pdx m12 which will do 1200 watt rms. Or getting a skar or sundown 2000 watt rms amp off of ebay for an extra couple hundred dollars which will give me headroom to add more subs in the future if I feel the need. Build around Alpine X 12"

I just purchased an alpine type x 12" as well and have been running it in a sealed box through a pioneer 9601 which I believe is rated at 600 watt rms at 2 ohms so a bit under powered but it still pumps hard. Really wanna get a 1000 watt rms amp though to see how much more I can get out of it. Sent from my SM-G610Y using Tapatalk

    Build around Alpine X 12"

The new x series are 900 watts rms. But the type x which they replaced are 1000 watt rms. Sent from my SM-G610Y using Tapatalk

    Front door speakers

Would like some opinions on 6.5 speakers for the front doors of my 1992 toyota 4runner. Doesnt come with factory door speakers so ill mount with pods and/or spaces, will cut a hole if i must. Looking to spend around $300 Australian which is about $240 USD at the moment. Have looked at rockford fosgate power t1650 $165 on ebay and the t1650s which are about $330 on ebay. Two main questions. Are the splits worth double. And what other speakers would you recommend around the same price range. Thx in advance for any help. Sent from my SM-G610Y using Tapatalk
  12. I often buy speakers and amps from ebay from a seller called brand beast. In my experience they have always been cheapest, items arrive quickly and are as I expect. I'm based in Australia so don't know if they ship overseas but it would probably be dearer for postage. Sent from my SM-G610Y using Tapatalk
