2 15" Q Power Deluxe subs with 1600.1 Crunch amp
  1. Hey guys I'm having some trouble determining port size and length. I have 2 15" Q Power Deluxe, 2000 max/ 750 rms each. Right now they are in a 5 cube sealed box in my 01 impala. Powering them is a 1600.1 crunch ground pounder. I have a basic layout of the box I'm wanting to build. Manufacturer recommends 3.5 cu ft per sub ported, I wanna go slightly bigger. W: 38 H: 18 D: 26. Comes out to about 8.5 cubes before sub and port displacement. Wanting to tune to around 35 hz. They will be firing back with single slotted port back to trunk lid. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey I'd like to get a good ported box idea. I've build my own before tuned and all but it was for an SUV so space was no factor. With the measurements I have for my trunk I'm having difficulty with port length and all that for tuning. 38" is max length and 18" is max height. Vehicle : 2001 Impala Location in the vehicle: Trunk facing back/ port back Space available (Length x Width x Height): 38x30x18 Subwoofer make and model: Q Power Deluxe Subwoofer Size: 15 Number of Subwoofers: 2 Type of Port (Kerfed, Slot, Aero, etc.): Slot What type of music do you like?: Everything, rap mostly Is your goal SPL or Everyday Music?: SPL Tuning Freq (Hz): 35-40 Volume : 6-7 cu ft special requests: would like one slot so there's more cu ft for subs
