Stock 6-speakers, JVC head unit w/ AUX, USB, no subwoofer (yet)
  1. The amp is a monoblock, 1100W rated for 250W RMS but the 10' Kicker subwoofer is 500W at 300W RMS. So they're pretty close, I just want a second opinion. Thanks.
  2. I don't have a lot of mechanical experience, although I installed my own head unit recently. I'm putting a 10'' Kicker sub w/ enclosure and an amp (probably under passengers seat) into my 2007 Toyota Corolla. The sub gets 250 RMS, which suits my needs. I really want to avoid the rattling I hear in some of my friends vehicles from their subs. Since they mainly did their own installs, I'm thinking I might be better off with a professional install. Installation fee is $100. Do you think it's a good idea?
