    Sony DSXS310BTX Digital Media Receiver
  1. I am looking for sound quality. Max budget: Around $300 I plan to put these CDT's into my front doors and to run them off of the amp. The rear speakers I will keep stock and use them as fill and run them off the HU which is a Sony DSXS310BTX Digital Media Receiver. (This receiver delivers 52 watts of peak power to all four speakers while DSO and EQ3 stage 2 lets you adjust the mix for a dynamic sound experience.) Here are the speaker specs... CDT Audio HD-61A True 6.5″ 2-Way Component System 1 pair HD-E6 (improved for 2012) 6.5″ mid woofer 1 pair EX-530 24 dB/octave 2-way crossover, 3 dB Tweeter Adjustment 1 pair HD-100 1″ silk tweeter Power handling: 170 watt RMS @ HPF 120 Hz Frequency response: 65 Hz – 20,000 Hz Impedance: 4 Ohm Sensitivity: 91.6 dB Mounting depth: 2.74” Flush and surface tweeter housings Also, what gauge wire should I use for the amp & speakers off the HU?

woofersetc deal on CDT's & Amp?.. Any good?

Should I look for newer CDT's within this price range? Anything better?
  3. This set any good? Or should I buy a different amp? Looking to add these speakers to front doors and replace my factory components and leave my rear doors as fill from factory 6.5's off 35wx4 HU. WoofersEtc.com - CL-61A.2-25 PRO+FD2100 - CDT Audio/ARC Audio 6.5" Component Sound Quality Package Should I go with these or ID's (ctx65cs)?

Help me upgrade my 2012 Toyota Rav4!

I wonder how the ID's compare to the CL-61A-25 PRO - CDT Audio Classic 6.5" 2-Way Component Speakers.. Anyone have any opinions on these CDT's?
  5. The sound on this vehicle was horrendous when I purchased it. I started by upgrading the HU with a Sony DSXS310BTX Digital Media Receiver that improved the sound, now I want to upgrade my door speakers. Stock includes a tweeter in the front door as well as a 6.5" and the rear doors have 6.5" speakers, same as front without tweeter. metraonline.com shows: Location Size Depth Front 1 6.5 3.2 Front Tweeters 1 2 Rear 1 6.5 3.4 *I want to stay under $200 a pair and I also need an amp to go along with these. I am not necessarily looking for volume with this system, I want clarity. I listen to all different kinds of music so lows, mids and highs are all equally important. I don't want to get into adding a sub at all in this vehicle, so the 6.5's have to be able to handle some of the bass without mudding up the sound. Thanks in advance for any and all help that you guys can provide!
